On March 29, Klaus von Stosch and his Muslim colleague Muna Tatari had a book launch for the English translation of their common book on Mary in the Qur’an at the University of Edinburgh. After outlining some of their findings, they had an intense debate with international colleagues and students.
One day later, they discussed the book with a group of undergraduate, graduate and PhD students and their colleague Dr Joshua Ralston.
On March 28, the publisher of their book, GingkoLibrary, arranged a book presentation at the Reform Club in London. After the presentation, Tatari and von Stosch had a fascinating conversation with several art historians at the National Gallery and tried to initiate a dialogue between the Qur’anic Mary and the Masaccio-Madonna with her child in the Renaissance Gallery.
